why have a website?

I built my first website circa 1998. It was a webpage dedicated to a computer game I adored at the time, Petz. Ever since then, I've been enamored with the idea with creating my own little corner of the internet that's all my own. I've become increasingly disillusioned with platforms like Facebook and Instagram, and critical of their broader influence on society.

Building and maintaining this website helps me learn new skills and practice areas of personal growth. I'm glad you're here.

how this site was built

I built this site using 11ty and it is hosted on Netlify.

The fonts used are Avara for headings and IBM Plex Mono for the body text. I really love the italics in IBM Plex Mono.
